Admission is one non-perishable food item. Monday, Oct 26, 5–8pm.

• Costume contest (register 5–6pm), jack-o'-lantern contest, cakewalk and a bounce slide.
• Game and food tickets are 20 for $5, so bring a few bucks for extras.

Free admission, free parking and free gator shows — live alligators, including Pearl, a rare albino.

• Opens daily at 11am. Show times vary by season, and shows can pause in cold weather, so check before you go.
• Feeding ($5 a bag) and gator photos cost extra. You don't have to eat at Fudpucker's to visit.

The county's beach park in Destin: swimming, a playground, pavilions and restrooms, with multiple walkovers to the sand. The county lists no admission or parking fee.

Free admission, free parking, and no base access or military ID required — the museum sits outside the gate and is open to everyone.

• Interior daily 9a–5p. Outdoor airpark sunrise to sundown, 7 days.
• Closed only Thanksgiving and Christmas. Groups of 5+ call a week ahead.

Free to walk the village — shops, the lagoon and free entertainment through the year.
